Se cumplen 10 años de la publicación de lo que yo considero uno de los mejores discos de todo el siglo: OK COMPUTER de Radiohead. Sigo considerando que capta el verdadero Zeitgeist de esta época, o, una época en la que el mundo se avecinaba al próximo milenio. Temas como la alienación de nuestra sociedad, la desesperación, la soledad, la muerte y el suicidio son temas que nos embarcaban a una posible Apocalipsis a principios del milenio.
Un tono destrozoso, de fin-de-siècle, pero igualmente con esperanzas.
Canciones que nos revelan la hipocresía de la sociedad en Airbag ("In a deep deep sleep of the innocent I am born again In a fast german car I'm amazed that I survived An airbag saved my life"),
la desesperación y la soledad en Paranoid Android ("Rain down, rain down, come on rain down on me From a great height, from a great height, height"),
el amor eterno a través de la muerte en Exit Music ("Wake from your sleep The drying of your tears, today we escape, we escape Pack and get dressed, before your father hears us, before, all hell breaks loose"),
